By utilizing various online Learning Management Systems, Steepletown offers GED participants the opportunity to learn at an appropriate and balanced pace. Guidance and support are offered through the counsel of the Education Coordinator. Additional support from 1-on-1 tutors is also available.

  • 17 – 24 years old
  • Not attending, nor enrolled in school
  • Live within Kent County

1. Information Session

At this time, you’ll receive an overview of the program and complete the intake paperwork.

2. Orientation Week

 

This is a 4-day series focuses on preparing participants for GED preparation, goal setting, career planning, personal empowerment, career portfolio development and academic assessments.

3. Begin studying in the GED Lab

 

You will begin course-work in our GED lab under the supervision of our Education Coordinator, Melanie Grandy, and be on your way towards personal well-being and professional growth.

GED Lab Hours

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • 1-on-1 tutoring available upon request
